1.No Purchase Necessary
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. A purchase is not required and does not change the value of any single entry; free entries carry identical weight. Each Sweepstakes is open to eligible entrants regardless of whether they purchase any product or service from Pixul. The three free Alternative Methods of Entry described in Section 6 — mail-in Entry Code, Instagram follow, and Instagram repost — each receive entries on equal terms with paid entry as described in Section 5.
Void where prohibited or restricted by law. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply.
2.Sponsor & Administrator
The Sponsor of each Sweepstakes is Pixul LLC, with offices at 2108 N St N, Sacramento, CA 95816. Sponsor is also the administrator of each Sweepstakes. Inquiries may be directed to founder@pixul.live.
3.Eligibility
Each Sweepstakes is open only to natural persons who, at the time of entry, meet all of the following criteria:
- Are legal residents of one of the fifty (50) United States or the District of Columbia, excluding residents of New York, Rhode Island, Florida, Puerto Rico;
- Are at least eighteen (18) years of age (or the age of majority in their state of residence, whichever is greater) at the time of entry;
- Have a valid email address and a valid U.S. mailing address that can receive verification correspondence and the prize;
- Are not subject to any U.S. sanctions program, listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties, or otherwise prohibited by law from entering or winning;
- Are not an employee, officer, director, agent, contractor, or representative of Sponsor or of any company affiliated with Sponsor, and are not an Immediate Family Member (spouse, parent, child, sibling, or their spouses) or person living in the same household (whether or not related) of any such person.
Residents of New York, Rhode Island, Florida, Puerto Rico are not eligible to enter, receive entries from, or win any Sweepstakes. Entries originating from or identifying a residence in those states will be disqualified.
Eligibility is determined at the time of entry. Sponsor reserves the right to require proof of eligibility (including proof of identity, age, and residence) at any time; failure to provide such proof on request is grounds for disqualification.
4.Promotion Period
Pixul runs multiple, discrete Sweepstakes rounds over time. The promotion period (the “Promotion Period”) for each Sweepstakes — including its start date and time, end date and time, and drawing date — is published on the Prizes page and announced in-product before that Sweepstakes opens. Each Promotion Period is administered separately under these Rules; entries from a closed Sweepstakes do not carry over to a future Sweepstakes. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to conduct Sweepstakes on a cadence of its choosing, and to modify, suspend, or cancel future Sweepstakes rounds at any time and for any reason. No specific frequency or recurrence of Sweepstakes is guaranteed.
Current Promotion Period (Sweepstakes #2). The Promotion Period for Sweepstakes #2 begins at July 23, 2026 at 12:39 AM ET and ends at July 30, 2026 at 12:39 AM ET. The drawing for Sweepstakes #2 occurs immediately at Promotion Period close, on the same calendar day. The winner will be announced on or before August 1, 2026 at 12:39 AM ET (within forty-eight (48) hours of the drawing, per Section 11).
Sponsor’s computer is the official time-keeping device for each Sweepstakes. Any entry submitted before the announced start time or after the announced end time of a given Promotion Period will be void and will not be counted toward that Sweepstakes.
5.How to Enter
5.1 Paid Entry Method (Block Subscription)
An eligible entrant who maintains an active, paid “Block” subscription on the Pixul Board is automatically entered in every Sweepstakes that Sponsor elects to conduct and whose Promotion Period overlaps with their active subscription — no separate action, opt-in, or repeat purchase is required. Each active Block automatically receives the entry count published for its pricing tier on the Prizes page at the time the Sweepstakes opens, for every Sweepstakes that opens while the subscription remains active. Nothing in this Section obligates Sponsor to run a Sweepstakes during any particular interval (see Section 4).
Example. If an entrant purchases a Block on June 1 and a Sweepstakes opens on June 7, that entrant automatically receives entries in the June 7 Sweepstakes. So long as the entrant maintains the subscription and it has not lapsed or expired, the entrant automatically receives entries in every subsequent Sweepstakes that opens thereafter as well, on the same automatic basis, with no additional purchase or action required.
Entries are issued at the start of each Sweepstakes’ Promotion Period for then-active Block subscriptions; a Block whose subscription has lapsed, been cancelled, or otherwise become inactive at the start of a given Promotion Period will not receive entries in that Sweepstakes. In addition, a Block first claimed on a paid subscription during an already-open Promotion Period is entered into that same Sweepstakes upon claim; a Block claimed after a Promotion Period has closed receives its entries in the next Sweepstakes that opens while the subscription remains active. Cancelling a subscription after a Sweepstakes has opened will not retroactively void entries already issued to that Block for that Sweepstakes, but it will end the entrant’s automatic enrollment in any subsequent Sweepstakes.
5.2 Free Alternative Method (AMOE)
Entrants may obtain entries free of charge by following the AMOE process described in Section 6. The AMOE process is the exclusive free entry method; no other no-purchase method (including social-media activity, write-in submissions not following the AMOE process, or third-party promotions) qualifies as an entry under these Rules unless expressly designated as such by Sponsor in writing.
5.3 Equal Dignity
Each properly submitted AMOE entry — whether through the mail-in Entry Code path described in Section 6.B, the Instagram follow path described in Section 6.C, or the Instagram repost path described in Section 6.D — receives 5 Sweepstakes entries. Subject to the disqualification rules in Section 7, AMOE entries carry the same weight and the same odds as paid entries of equivalent count, regardless of which of the three free paths produced them.
5.4 No Platform Endorsement
This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram, TikTok, X (formerly Twitter), YouTube, Twitch, Kick, Rumble, Meta Platforms, Inc., or any other third-party social-media, livestreaming, or content platform. Any reference on the Pixul Board, in the Official Rules, or in any promotional materials to such a platform’s name, logo, handle, or feature (including without limitation “follow,” “repost,” or “share” mechanics described in Section 6) is for identification only and does not imply any relationship with, or approval by, that platform. By participating, each entrant releases each such platform from all claims arising out of or relating to the Sweepstakes.
6.Free Alternative Method of Entry (AMOE)
6.A Three Free-Entry Paths
Sponsor offers three Alternative Methods of Entry. Each, when properly completed during an open Promotion Period, results in 5 Sweepstakes entries for that Promotion Period. The three paths are:
- Mail-In Entry Code — the CAPTCHA-gated email submission described in Section 6.B below.
- Instagram Follow — following Sponsor’s official Instagram account and sending the confirmation DM described in Section 6.C below.
- Instagram Repost — reposting Sponsor’s pinned Sweepstakes post and sending the confirmation DM described in Section 6.D below.
An entrant may use any combination of paths during a single Promotion Period and may repeat any path consistent with that path’s own cooldown rules. All three paths are subject to the eligibility, account-integrity, and Block-placement consent provisions in Sections 6.E, 6.F, and 6.G below.
6.B Mail-In Entry Code
To enter free of charge by mail-in Entry Code during an open Promotion Period, complete the following steps:
- Visit the AMOE code-retrieval page at pixul.live/sweepstakes/amoe-code using a standard internet-connected device.
- Complete the “I am not a robot” verification challenge presented on that page. Upon successful completion, the page will display a single-use entry code (the “Entry Code”).
- Send a single email to founder@pixul.live with subject line AMOE Entry — see below for the specific formatting of the email and what information is needed. Unlimited Entry Code submissions are allowed during the Promotion Period, subject to the cooldown noted immediately below.
Each properly formatted, eligible mail-in AMOE email submitted during a Promotion Period and received from a unique entrant counts as 5 entries in the Sweepstakes associated with the Promotion Period in which the Entry Code was issued. Entry Codes are issued one at a time on successful completion of the verification challenge; there is no per-day cap on the number of Entry Codes an entrant may request, and each request requires a fresh successful verification, subject to a brief ten (10) minute interval between requests from the same entrant or network. Every issued Entry Code is unique, single-use, valid only for the Sweepstakes during which it was issued, and expires twenty-four (24) hours after issuance.
The body of the email must contain each of the following five fields, each on its own line and in this order: “Entry Code:” followed by the Entry Code displayed on the AMOE page; “Full Name:” followed by the entrant’s legal first and last name; “Mailing Address:” followed by street, city, state, and ZIP; “Email:” followed by an email address at which the entrant can be reached; and “Phone:” followed by a U.S. phone number, digits only. A mail-in AMOE submission is “properly formatted” only if it includes all five fields, in the order shown, with non-empty values that match the entrant’s true identity, and is received from an email address consistent with the “Email” field. Submissions missing any field, containing demonstrably false information, sent from a disposable / forwarded address, or otherwise non-compliant with this Section will be disqualified without notice. If submitting multiple emailed entries, please include in the subject line directly after “AMOE Entry” the number of the entry — for example, if it is your second entry, the subject line must say “AMOE ENTRY #2”.
6.C Instagram Follow
To enter free of charge by Instagram follow during an open Promotion Period, complete the following steps:
- From a personal Instagram account that satisfies the account-integrity requirements in Section 6.E (the “Entrant Account”), follow Sponsor’s official Instagram account at @pixul.live.
- Within the same open Promotion Period, send a direct message (DM) to @pixul.live from the Entrant Account containing, as the entire message body, the single word FOLLOWED on its own line, followed by the entrant’s legal first and last name on the next line, in the exact format shown:
FOLLOWED <legal first and last name>
Sponsor will record one (1) Instagram follow AMOE submission per Entrant Account per Promotion Period. Repeated FOLLOWED DMs from the same Entrant Account within the same Promotion Period will be treated as a single submission. Unfollowing and re-following the Sponsor account does not create a new entry.
6.D Instagram Repost
To enter free of charge by Instagram repost during an open Promotion Period, complete the following steps:
- From an Entrant Account satisfying Section 6.E, repost or share to your own feed or story the Sweepstakes post pinned to @pixul.live for the open Promotion Period, with the original post visibly attributed to Sponsor (default Instagram reshare attribution is sufficient).
- Within the same open Promotion Period, send a DM to @pixul.live from the Entrant Account containing, as the entire message body, the single word REPOSTED on its own line, followed by the entrant’s legal first and last name on the next line, in the exact format shown:
REPOSTED <legal first and last name>
Sponsor will record one (1) Instagram repost AMOE submission per Entrant Account per Promotion Period. Repeated REPOSTED DMs from the same Entrant Account within the same Promotion Period will be treated as a single submission. Deleting and re-posting the same underlying post does not create a new entry.
6.E Eligibility & Account Integrity (All Paths)
Every AMOE submission — mail-in, Instagram follow, or Instagram repost — is subject to all of the eligibility requirements in Section 3, including the U.S.-residency requirement and the exclusion of residents of New York, Rhode Island, Florida, Puerto Rico. Submissions that identify (or are reasonably attributable to) a residence in an excluded jurisdiction will be disqualified regardless of how the submission was made.
In addition, Instagram-path submissions (Sections 6.C and 6.D) require an Entrant Account that meets each of the following at the time the confirmation DM is sent:
- Is a real, person-owned Instagram account — not a bot, automation account, multi-account “farm,” promotion-tracking account, or otherwise synthetic / fake account;
- Has at least 100 legitimate followers — that is, followers that are themselves real, person-owned accounts, not purchased, swap-traded, or bot followers. Sponsor may, in its sole and reasonable judgment, evaluate the apparent authenticity of an Entrant Account’s follower base and disqualify a submission whose Entrant Account does not meet this floor;
- Is not restricted, deactivated, shadow-banned, or otherwise non-public at the time of the submission; and
- Is controlled by the same natural person whose legal first and last name appears in the confirmation DM (one Entrant Account per natural person; submissions from multiple accounts controlled by the same person will be consolidated into a single submission of each Instagram path per Promotion Period).
Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any Instagram-path submission whose Entrant Account does not meet these requirements, or whose confirmation DM does not match the format required in Section 6.C or 6.D, without further notice. Eligibility determinations are final.
6.F Block-Placement Consent (Instagram Paths Only)
By submitting either an Instagram follow (Section 6.C) or an Instagram repost (Section 6.D) AMOE entry, the entrant grants Sponsor a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license, revocable as described below, to populate a Block on the Pixul Board with the Entrant Account’s publicly displayed Instagram username (handle) and publicly displayed Instagram profile photo for the duration of the open Promotion Period and any related promotional materials describing that Promotion Period. This Block-placement license is granted solely in connection with the AMOE submission and:
- Does not require Sponsor to populate or display such a Block; Sponsor may decline to do so in its sole discretion;
- Does not create any ownership, subscription, or recurring entitlement to a Block; any such Block is a courtesy display only, may be moved or removed at any time, and confers no future Sweepstakes entries, no credit against any paid subscription, and no other benefit;
- Is revocable by the entrant on written request to founder@pixul.live identifying the Entrant Account — Sponsor will take down the courtesy Block within a reasonable time after receipt and will not reuse the Entrant Account’s handle or profile photo in connection with that Promotion Period thereafter. Revocation does not by itself void AMOE entries already recorded.
The Block-placement license described in this Section 6.F is in addition to, and not in lieu of, the publicity grant in Section 13 that applies if the entrant is selected as a winner, and is in addition to the courtesy temporary Block Sponsor may grant a non-Block-owning winner under Section 11.2.
6.G Winner Identity Verification (All AMOE Paths)
If an entrant who participated through any AMOE path is selected as the potential winner of a Sweepstakes, then, in addition to the general verification requirements in Section 12, the potential winner must produce, within the response window in Section 11.3, a government-issued photo identification or other official documentation establishing that the potential winner’s legal first and last name match the name submitted in the entrant’s AMOE submission (the mail-in “Full Name” field, or the legal first and last name in the FOLLOWED / REPOSTED Instagram DM, as applicable). Failure to produce conforming identification within the response window will result in disqualification and a redraw under Section 11.3.
6.H Tracking & Confidentiality
AMOE submissions of every kind are tracked internally by Sponsor for the sole purpose of conducting the drawing; they are not displayed on any account page, profile, or other public surface of the Service (other than the courtesy Block described in Section 6.F, if Sponsor elects to display one). Only entries tied to claimed Blocks appear in the on-site entry counts shown to entrants. Sponsor will not respond to inquiries about whether a given AMOE submission was counted.
7.Entry Limits & Disqualification
Entries are personal to the entrant; entries may not be sold, transferred, or assigned. Each entrant may use only one (1) identity (one legal name, one email address, and one phone number) across all entry methods within a given Sweepstakes. Multiple identities or accounts used to obtain additional entries by a single individual are prohibited, and all entries associated with such activity will be disqualified.
Without limitation, Sponsor may disqualify any entry (and may disqualify the entrant from current and future Sweepstakes) for any of the following:
- Use of any robot, script, macro, bot, automated method, or third-party service to generate Entry Codes or submit AMOE emails;
- Tampering with, attempting to defeat, or bypassing the CAPTCHA or other integrity controls on the AMOE code-retrieval page;
- Submission of false, misleading, or inconsistent information across entries or account-level data;
- Use of multiple identities, mail forwarding services, mass-created email addresses, or similar means to obtain entries beyond the per-person limits;
- Any attempt to interfere with the operation of the Sweepstakes, the Service, or the rights of other entrants.
Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to void any entries obtained through such means and to suspend or terminate Service access for any entrant engaging in such conduct.
8.Prize & Approximate Retail Value
The prize for each Sweepstakes (the “Prize”) and its approximate retail value (“ARV”) are described on the Prizes page for that Sweepstakes and in the in-product announcements for that Sweepstakes. The ARV is Sponsor’s good-faith estimate of the prize’s fair market value as of the Promotion Period start.
Current Prize (Sweepstakes #2). The Prize for Sweepstakes #2 is $600 grand prize, with an Approximate Retail Value of US $600.00.
Prizes are awarded “as is” without warranty of any kind, express or implied (except where prohibited by law). Each Sweepstakes awards one (1) Prize unless a different number is expressly stated on the Prizes page or in the announcement for that Sweepstakes. Prizes are non-transferable, non-assignable, and may not be substituted, except by Sponsor, which may substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the advertised prize becomes unavailable for any reason.
If the actual value of a Prize differs from the stated ARV (for example, due to market conditions at time of award), no compensation or refund will be paid. Any prize-related expenses not specifically stated as included — including but not limited to taxes, insurance, registration, licensing, fuel, maintenance, transportation, lodging, gratuities, and incidentals — are the sole responsibility of the winner.
9.Odds of Winning
Odds of winning a given Sweepstakes depend on the total number of eligible entries received during that Sweepstakes’ Promotion Period from all entry methods combined. Because participation determines the denominator, the odds cannot be calculated in advance of the drawing.
10.Winner Selection
Promptly after the close of the Promotion Period — on the same calendar day, U.S. Eastern Time — the potential winner of the Sweepstakes will be selected by random drawing from the consolidated entry ledger containing every eligible paid and AMOE entry received during that Promotion Period. The drawing is conducted by Sponsor or its designated technical agent using a deterministic selection algorithm seeded by a publicly verifiable randomness beacon (drand.love mainnet) whose entropy is published on a fixed public schedule outside of Sponsor’s control. Sponsor pre-commits to the specific drand round number before the close of the Promotion Period; the beacon’s entropy for that round is not knowable to Sponsor or any other party at the time of commitment. The selection algorithm walks the entry ledger such that each entry has a probability of selection equal to that entry’s entry count divided by the total entry count, so $1 of paid entries and $1 of AMOE-equivalent entries carry the same chance of being drawn.
The drawing is final. The result of the drawing is final and binding in all respects, subject only to Section 12 (Verification & Affidavit). The anonymized entry ledger and the drand round number used to seed the drawing are published with each closed Sweepstakes so any entrant may independently re-derive the result.
11.Winner Notification & Claim
11.1 Notification
Sponsor will attempt to notify the potential winner by email at the email address on file and (where available) by phone at the phone number on file within forty-eight (48) hours following the drawing. Sponsor’s notification attempts are limited to these two channels — email and phone — and Sponsor is not obligated to mail any physical letter or notice to any postal address on file in connection with notifying a winner; the absence of any such mailing does not constitute failure to notify. Each entrant is responsible for keeping the email address and phone number associated with the entrant’s account or AMOE submission accurate and current.
11.2 Public Display of Winner
If the potential winner is the owner of a Block on the Pixul Board at the time of the drawing, Sponsor will automatically display the potential winner’s account identity — per the publicity scope described in Section 13 — on the Sweepstakes reveal surface of the Service. If the potential winner does not own a Block at the time of the drawing (for example, an entrant who participated exclusively through the AMOE processes in Section 6), Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, grant the potential winner a temporary, non-recurring Block on the Pixul Board for the purpose of the on-site reveal display. Any such temporary Block is a courtesy display only; it confers no future Sweepstakes entries, ongoing subscription, or other benefit, and may be reclaimed or removed by Sponsor at any time without notice. This Section 11.2 courtesy Block is separate from the Instagram-path Block-placement license in Section 6.F: an entrant may consent to a Section 6.F Block (during the Promotion Period, regardless of winner status) without becoming a winner, and a winner may receive a Section 11.2 courtesy Block without having submitted an Instagram-path entry.
11.3 Response Window & Redraw
The potential winner must respond to Sponsor’s notification — acknowledging receipt and confirming the contact information Sponsor should use for verification — within forty-eight (48) hours of the drawing for the relevant Sweepstakes. If the potential winner does not respond within that window, for any reason — including non-receipt owing to inaccurate or out-of-date contact information, a full mailbox, a spam filter, simple non-response, or refusal of the Prize — Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify that potential winner and conduct a fresh drawing for the same Prize.
Each such redraw uses a new drand round number, pinned by Sponsor before the redraw is conducted and recorded in the same audit trail described in Section 10. The deterministic selection algorithm is then re-run against the eligible entries from the original Promotion Period, excluding any entries associated with disqualified potential winners. The resulting redrawn winner is subject to all of the same requirements as the original potential winner, including the forty-eight (48)-hour response window described in this Section 11.3; if a redrawn winner is also unresponsive within forty-eight (48) hours of the redraw, Sponsor may conduct further redraws on the same terms until a winner responds within the window or, in Sponsor’s sole discretion, the Prize is deemed unawarded and the Sweepstakes closed. Sponsor has no liability for failed notification resulting from inaccurate or out-of-date contact information provided by the entrant.
11.4 Electronic Prize Delivery
Prizes are delivered electronically. To receive a Prize, a verified winner must designate a U.S. bank account, prepaid debit card, peer-to-peer payment account (such as PayPal, Venmo, Cash App, or Zelle), or other electronic-payment account capable of receiving an electronic transfer in U.S. dollars from Sponsor. Sponsor does not mail physical checks, money orders, gift cards, or other physical prize instruments, and Sponsor does not hold prize funds in escrow. If a verified winner cannot or will not provide a qualifying electronic-payment account within the verification window described in Section 12, the Prize may, in Sponsor’s sole discretion, be deemed unawarded.
11.5 Sponsor Will Never Request Payment; Confirming Legitimacy
Sponsor will never request payment of any kind from a Sweepstakes winner as a condition of receiving a Prize. Sponsor will not ask any winner to pay taxes, processing fees, “release” fees, shipping or handling charges, deposits, escrow charges, currency-conversion fees, gift-card balances, or any other amount of money in connection with claiming a Prize. The full Approximate Retail Value of any Prize will be transferred by Sponsor directly to the winner’s designated electronic-payment account, in U.S. dollars, with no offset, fee, or deduction withheld by Sponsor. The winner’s own tax obligations under Section 14 remain the responsibility of the winner; Sponsor does not collect taxes from the winner in connection with delivery of the Prize.
Any communication purporting to be from Sponsor that requests money, wire transfers, gift cards, cryptocurrency, or any other form of payment from a winner is fraudulent and is not from Sponsor. On request, Sponsor will confirm its legitimacy by sending a confirmation email from founder@pixul.live — and only that address. Messages from any other sender claiming to represent Sponsor in connection with a Sweepstakes should be disregarded, and may be reported to Sponsor at founder@pixul.live.
12.Verification & Affidavit
As a condition of receiving any Prize, a potential winner may be required to execute and return, within seven (7) days of the date of the request:
- An Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release (the “Release”), in a form supplied by Sponsor, confirming eligibility, the accuracy of the entry information, and consent to publicity as described in Section 13;
- Government-issued photo identification and proof of residence (such as a utility bill or bank statement) sufficient to verify identity, age, and state of residence;
- Only when the winner’s cumulative awarded prizes from Pixul sweepstakes (across all rounds, lifetime) exceed two thousand dollars (US $2,000), a completed IRS Form W-9 (or, for non-U.S. tax persons where applicable, the appropriate Form W-8) for tax reporting. Below that cumulative threshold, no tax paperwork is required as a condition of receiving the Prize.
Where a Release is prohibited or limited by the law of the potential winner’s state of residence, Sponsor will modify the Release as required to comply, or accept entry into the prize record by other reasonable means. Failure to return any required document within the applicable response window will result in disqualification and a redrawn winner under Section 11.3.
13.Publicity Release
Except where prohibited by law (including for residents of Tennessee, who may opt out), acceptance of any Prize constitutes the winner’s consent to Sponsor’s and its designees’ use of the winner’s first name, last initial, city and state of residence, Pixul account display name, biographical information, statements, photograph, and likeness in any media now known or later developed, in connection with the Sweepstakes and Sponsor’s promotional activities, worldwide, in perpetuity, without further notice, compensation, or approval.
Instagram-path entrants. Entrants who submit an AMOE entry through the Instagram follow or Instagram repost paths separately grant the limited, revocable Block-placement license described in Section 6.F (use of publicly displayed Instagram username and profile photo to populate a courtesy Block for the duration of the open Promotion Period). That license operates independently of, and in addition to, this Section 13 publicity grant, which only attaches on acceptance of a Prize.
Full legal last name, mailing address, phone number, date of birth, and similar sensitive information collected during entry or verification will not be publicly disclosed except as required by law.
14.Taxes
All federal, state, and local taxes and any other costs and expenses associated with acceptance and use of the Prize are the sole responsibility of the winner. Sponsor will request a completed IRS Form W-9 and issue corresponding Form 1099-MISC tax documentation only if and when the winner’s cumulative awarded prizes from Pixul sweepstakes (across all rounds, lifetime) exceed two thousand dollars (US $2,000). Below that cumulative threshold, Sponsor does not collect tax paperwork as a condition of receiving the Prize; the winner remains solely responsible for reporting prize income to the IRS and to applicable state and local tax authorities. The winner is advised to consult an independent tax professional regarding the tax consequences of any Prize.
15.Release & Limitation of Liability
By entering any Sweepstakes, each entrant releases and holds harmless Sponsor, its parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, officers, directors, employees, agents, and representatives (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to: (a) participation in any Sweepstakes; (b) the acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any Prize; (c) any prize-related travel or activity; (d) any human or technical error of any kind; (e) interruptions, delays, or malfunctions in any Sweepstakes administration; or (f) any printing, typographical, administrative, or technological errors in any materials associated with any Sweepstakes.
The Released Parties are not responsible for: lost, late, illegible, incomplete, undelivered, garbled, or misdirected entries; failures of any email, telephone, mail, or internet system; lost, interrupted, or unavailable network, server, satellite, internet service provider, or other connections; miscommunications; failed computer hardware or software; technical failures; or any combination of the foregoing.
EXCEPT WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW, EACH ENTRANT AGREES THAT: (i) ANY AND ALL DISPUTES, CLAIMS, AND CAUSES OF ACTION ARISING OUT OF OR CONNECTED WITH A SWEEPSTAKES OR THE PRIZE AWARDED WILL BE RESOLVED INDIVIDUALLY, WITHOUT RESORT TO ANY FORM OF CLASS ACTION; (ii) ANY AND ALL CLAIMS, JUDGMENTS, AND AWARDS WILL BE LIMITED TO ACTUAL OUT-OF-POCKET COSTS INCURRED IN PARTICIPATING IN THAT SWEEPSTAKES, BUT IN NO EVENT ATTORNEYS’ FEES; AND (iii) UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL ENTRANT BE PERMITTED TO OBTAIN AWARDS FOR, AND ENTRANT HEREBY WAIVES ALL RIGHTS TO CLAIM, PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL, AND CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES AND ANY OTHER DAMAGES, OTHER THAN ACTUAL OUT-OF-POCKET EXPENSES, AND ANY AND ALL RIGHTS TO HAVE DAMAGES MULTIPLIED OR OTHERWISE INCREASED.
California Civil Code § 1542 Waiver. The release in this Section is intended to extend to all claims, whether known or unknown to the entrant at the time of acceptance. Each entrant who is a resident of California expressly waives the protections of California Civil Code Section 1542, which provides: “A general release does not extend to claims that the creditor or releasing party does not know or suspect to exist in his or her favor at the time of executing the release and that, if known by him or her, would have materially affected his or her settlement with the debtor or released party.” The entrant understands the significance of this waiver and assumes the risk of any unknown claim.
16.General Conditions
Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, suspend, modify, or terminate any Sweepstakes (or to disqualify any entrant) if, in Sponsor’s sole judgment, any factor impairs the integrity, fair conduct, security, or proper administration of the Sweepstakes, including fraud, technical failures, or causes beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control. In the event of cancellation or termination, Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, conduct the drawing from among all eligible entries received up to the time of the impairing event.
Force Majeure. Without limiting the foregoing, “causes beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control” includes, by way of example and not limitation: acts of God; natural disasters (including earthquake, hurricane, flood, fire, severe weather, and wildfire); war, armed conflict, terrorism, civil unrest, and acts of any government or governmental authority; epidemic, pandemic, and public-health emergency; nationwide or regional disruption of electricity, telecommunications, payment-processing, or internet services; outage of any third-party platform, network, cloud infrastructure, or randomness beacon (including drand) on which the drawing depends; failure or unavailability of the drand.love beacon signature for the pre-committed drand round number; and any law, order, or regulation that prevents or materially restricts Sponsor from administering the Sweepstakes. If a force-majeure event prevents selection of a winner using the pre-committed drand round number, Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, pin a later drand round and re-run the deterministic selection, with the substitution and the reason recorded in the public audit trail.
CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE THE SERVICE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF ANY SWEEPSTAKES IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS. SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES AND OTHER REMEDIES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
If any provision of these Rules is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permissible and the remaining provisions of these Rules will remain in full force and effect. Sponsor’s failure to enforce any term of these Rules will not constitute a waiver of that provision.
17.Disputes & Governing Law
Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to any Sweepstakes or these Rules — including the determination of the scope or applicability of this Section — is governed by the dispute resolution provisions of our Terms of Service, which require resolution by individual binding arbitration and waive the right to a jury trial and to participate in any class action, except as expressly provided there.
Except as otherwise provided by the dispute resolution provisions of the Terms of Service, these Rules are governed by, and will be construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles, as the State in which Sponsor is principally located and from which each Sweepstakes is administered. Any court action that is not subject to arbitration must be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in California, and each entrant consents to the personal jurisdiction and venue of those courts.
California-specific disclosures. Because these Rules are governed by California law, the following additional terms apply:
- Section 1542 waiver. The general release of liability in Section 15 includes an express waiver of California Civil Code § 1542 extending the release to unknown and unsuspected claims. See Section 15 for the full waiver text.
- Consumer-affairs notice (Cal. Civ. Code § 1789.3). California residents may reach the Complaint Assistance Unit of the Division of Consumer Services of the California Department of Consumer Affairs in writing at 1625 North Market Blvd., Suite N 112, Sacramento, CA 95834, or by telephone at (800) 952-5210.
- No purchase required to win; equal odds. Consistent with California Business & Professions Code § 17539.15 and related sweepstakes-advertising rules, no purchase or other consideration is required to enter or win, and a purchase will not improve an entrant’s chances of winning. The Alternative Method of Entry described in Section 6 receives entries on equal terms with the paid entry method.
- CCPA / CPRA rights. California residents have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act and the California Privacy Rights Act regarding personal information collected in connection with any Sweepstakes. Those rights, and instructions for exercising them, are described in the “California Residents” section of our Privacy Policy.
18.Privacy
Information collected from entrants in connection with each Sweepstakes — including name, mailing address, email, phone number, and any documentation provided for verification — is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Sweepstakes-eligibility information collected through the AMOE process is used to verify eligibility, administer the Sweepstakes, contact the potential winner, satisfy tax reporting and recordkeeping obligations, and prevent fraud and abuse. It is not displayed on any public profile, is not shared with other users, and is not used for marketing.
By entering, each entrant consents to Sponsor’s collection, use, and disclosure of personal information as described in the Privacy Policy and in these Rules. California residents have additional rights described in the “California Residents” section of the Privacy Policy.
19.Winners List & Rules Request
For the name of the winner (first name and last initial only) of any closed Sweepstakes — including any past closed Sweepstakes, not only the most recent — or for a copy of the Official Rules that governed any closed Sweepstakes, or the Official Rules currently in effect, send an email to founder@pixul.live with subject line “WINNER REQUEST” or “RULES REQUEST”, identifying the Sweepstakes by its name (e.g. Sweepstakes #2) or Promotion Period dates. A single email may request the winners list and/or Rules for multiple past Sweepstakes; please list each Sweepstakes you would like a record for. Winner-name requests must be received no later than ninety (90) days after the drawing date for the relevant Sweepstakes; Rules-request emails have no such deadline and may be made at any time. Sponsor will respond by email within a reasonable time, generally within thirty (30) days of receipt.
In addition to the email request process above, the anonymized entry ledger and the drand round number used to seed the drawing for each closed Sweepstakes are also published on the Prizes page so any entrant may independently audit and re-derive the result.
